The Duluth Merchants Association is honored to announce that the Rainbow Village and the Hands of Christ, a Duluth Co-operative will be the beneficiaries of this year’s event. Generous patrons and guests attending this noteworthy event will be enthralled by the location…it will be at the Glass Gallery at the Duluth Outpatient Center.

The mission of Rainbow Village is to provide families in domestic and/or economic crisis a healing environment to rebuild their lives through a community-based transitional housing program that promotes self-sufficiency.
Begun in 1991 as an outreach ministry of Christ Episcopal Church, Rainbow Village, Inc. has provided the information, the tools and the support that has assisted over 750 women and children get on their feet and stay there. Hands of Christ - Duluth Cooperative Ministry |
In October 1992, ministries and representatives from 10 churches in Duluth met to pray, discuss and plan ways to meet a growing crisis in our community. From these meetings came the birth of the Hands of Christ Ministry Duluth Co-op.
A Duluth Cooperative Ministry, it is an interdenominational crisis ministry designed to provide aide for the people in our community with urgent physical, economic, social and spiritual needs. A cooperative effort prevents duplication of services and provides a more efficient use of our resources.

About this Year's Event
The Saturday night evening will begin at 6 pm with guests enjoying the Silent Auction offerings and LIVE music. The evening will proceed with a sumptuous taste of Duluth followed by a presentation by Rainbow Village and Hands of Christ/Duluth Cooperative Ministry and how these special charites are making life better for those in need in our community. The Humanitarian Sponsor will be introduced and presented by Glenn Sarver.
The Live Auction will follow and promises fun for all. All DMA Members are welcome to join the festivities. The Tickets are only $75.00 per person, a Reserved Table of (8) eight is $500.00. We are seeking Silent Auction Items as well as Live Auction Items.
